From empirical and applied perspectives, InterLAE caters to the linguistic needs of a wide range of professional communities by offering language services such as language advising, language mediation, translation and language training to staff. InterLAE offers:
- Provision of electronic collections of texts (across professional domains) (see SERAC, this website)
- Systematic investigation of language resources across textual typologies that yield accurate translation across languages
- Training of staff on language skills to solve specific language, translation and communication problems (written/spoken) within a given professional context.
- Significant involvement with professional communities and institutions (science, technology, economics business, law, education) for accurate translation services and language services for cross-cultural communication across national and linguistic boundaries.
