Laura Martínez Escudero
Laura Martínez Escudero graduated in English Philology at the University of Zaragoza in 2006. After graduation, Laura Martínez obtained the master’s degree in “Textual and Cultural Studies in English” (Quality Mention of the Ministry of Education and Culture) at the University of Zaragoza in November 2008. She is at the present moment a Research Fellow at the Department of English and German Philology of the University of Zaragoza, a position she secured in January 2008 after being granted a four-year scholarship by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science. This scholarship has allowed her to form part of the competitive research group INTERLAE, whose main fields of study include Critical Discourse Analysis, Corpus Analysis, Discourse Analysis and Genre Studies. Laura Martínez is particularly interested in analysing professional discourses. Her main research interests lie in intellectual property arbitration, with special focus on intertextuality and interdiscursivity.
