CONCEPCIÓN ORNA MONTESINOS (PhD) is a Professor of EFL and ESP at the Centro Universitario de la Defensa (University Center for Defence Studies). Linking her pedagogical and research interests, the focus of her research has been in the functional and rhetorical features of the lexis of specialized discourses, using the methodological approach of corpus linguistics. She is currently working on a new line of ethno-methodological research into the discursive practices and corporate culture of the international community. She is also interested in genre analysis, particularly those related to the dissemination of specialized knowledge (reviews, blurbs, scientific articles, etc.). Involved in teaching innovation and quality assurance at the university level she has participated in and coordinated different teaching innovation projects at the University of Zaragoza.
